Troubleshooting

How do I set the maximum/minimum heights for my Ryzer?

NOTE: The steps below may vary depending on the remote model that you have. The following instructions were made for the standard RT-11 remote.

To set the maximum height for your Ryzer, go to the desired height you would like to set and follow the steps below:

1. Press M and see [5 -] indicated on the display

2. Press the UP button and notice [5 -] blinks

3. Hold the M button until you see [999] on the display

4. The maximum height has now been set

To set the minimum height for your Ryzer, go to the desired height you would like to set and follow the steps below:

1. Press M and see [5 -] indicated on the display

2. Press the DOWN button and notice [5 -] blinks

3. Hold the M button until you see [000] on the display

4. The minimum height has now been set

To reset the limits, follow the steps below:

1. Press M and see [5 -] indicated on the display and release

2. Hold the M you see [555]

3. Limits have been reset

I have to hold down the remote buttons to get to my pre-set height. Is there a way to do this with only one press?

NOTE: The steps below may vary depending on the remote model you have. The following instructions were made for the standard RT-11 remote.

If you have to hold down the remote’s buttons to get to your pre-set height, this means that your control box is in momentary control. To set your remote to non-momentary mode, follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure that there is nothing underneath your desk, as we have to enter the reset procedure


  2. Press and hold the DOWN button until the display shows [ASr]


  3. Once [ASr] is shown, press and hold down [1], and you may see two values:


     a. 10.1 = Non-momentary Mode


     b. 10.2 = Momentary Mode


  4. Complete the reset procedure by holding the DOWN button until your standing desk slightly lowers and rises. 

How do I change the collision detection sensitivity?

Our standing desks have 3 settings for collision detection, and this can be set depending on your preference. To proceed, follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure that there is nothing underneath your desk as we have to enter the reset procedure

  2. Press and hold the DOWN button until the display shows [ASr]

  3. Once [ASr] is shown, press and hold the UP [ ^ ] button and you may see three values:

    a. 10.5 = 11 lbs

    b. 10.6 = 22 lbs

    c. 10.7 = 33 lbs

  4. Complete the reset procedure by holding the DOWN button until your standing desk slightly lowers and rises.

Great desk!

I bought the largest one offered because I need lots of room. I was concerned about the motors struggling or the system being weak or jittery. It is smooth and works well. I will buy more of these for my office when we need them. I highly recommend this product.

Unreasonable Return Shipping Cost

I recently purchased a Corner Ryzer standing desk frame and two tabletops, and the experience has been incredibly frustrating. I needed to exchange one of the $99 tabletops for another one with different dimensions, priced at $110. To my complete shock, the company is charging $40 just to provide a return label for the $99 tabletop, nearly half the cost of the item itself.

This fee is absolutely outrageous and completely unreasonable for a return of this size. I have never encountered such an excessive charge for something as simple as a return, especially when I’m already spending more money on an exchange.

It’s clear that Progressive Desk doesn’t care about providing a fair or customer-friendly return process. I’ll definitely never be purchasing from them again, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before ordering. The high fees and poor return policy make it simply not worth it.

Inferior packaging for shipping caused damage

The Solo Ryzer frame was used to build an adjustable height sewing table. It is perfect for my wife's needs and so far has performed beyond her expectations. I gave a 4 star rather than 5 star rating because, due to the inadequate packing the parts shifted during shipping and the heavy legs were badly scratched. The box probably broke open during shipping as one end was torn and the top was not closed, just taped together and the foam protection for the legs just waded up in the box. The package of small hardware was completely missing. I reported the damage sending numerous photos and I must say the ladies responding were very gracious and replacement parts were shipped. It was noted the replacement legs were shipped in a box with packing that fit tightly which arrived with no signs of distress. Had the legs been originally shipped in that, or similar container and the other parts, which are lighter in weight, were tightly packed and protected with foam in another container, the materials would have likely not been damaged, and we would have had the sewing table sooner.

Great desk and amazing company!

I got the corner desk with the gray oak top and it looks great. Very sturdy and well built. The desk rises and lowers smoothly and it seems well worth the money. The only small issue is that the privacy panel I got was slightly dinged during shipping. After reaching out to the company, they quickly shipped a replacement that arrived in great shape. Not every company stands behind their product, but now I'm impressed with both the desk and the company. Definitely recommend!
